A new version of Skype software has been made available to users.

Skype, famous client Internet telephony developed by the company of the same name which claims more than 300 million registered users in the world, we arrive in a new version for the Windows operating system.

Estampillée 4.0.0.155, this new version n’annonce not moult novelties. The ratings upgrades that accompany indeed show three things. Firstly, there is the plug-in Firefox that passes the version 2.2.0.94. Then they mention the correction of a bug affecting the display of video mood (learn more about the mood panel) and instant messages when Flash Player 10 is installed. Finally, there is talk of the updated translations.

Please note that this is a so-called beta version. Beware of any bugs so. However, for users who swear by stability, a new version of Skype 3.8 for Windows is also available and corrects almost the same thing.

The future of the famous VoIP software is taking shape under Windows with the availability of a first beta milling 4.0. Emphasis will be placed on better integration of the video.

Skype is without doubt one of the most famous software Internet telephony, claiming more than 300 million registered users around the world. After a Windows version 3.8 providing a lot of improvements, particularly in the audio (better sound quality), the next major version 4.0 will be paid in the video to be better integrated into the proposed service.

No date has yet been announced on the release of Skype 4.0, but a first beta is already available, and sooner than expected according to the developers.

Skype will take better care of Video
For the first jet to test Skype 4.0, the main novelty lies therefore in the image with the opportunity to make a conversation full-screen video or resized to wish all of which are promised in an excellent quality and ‘use simplified via a button “Video Call” to move its video call. A video conversation remains confined to two people at a time but it is possible, alongside the video call, to conduct a conversation in text mode.

Since a single window, it is also possible to carry out various actions (sending files, …). In addition, to stay in this area of the image, users can now send photos of themselves bigger and not just seen.

The user interface has always been somewhat reworked and easier to learn more about his contacts. The latter can also be directly imported from Outlook, Outlook Express, Windows Mail, Windows Live Hotmail and Yahoo! Mail.
